The Valencia Peanut is the most common peanut grown. Planted in New Mexico this peanut is also recognized by the name“ballpark peanut”, whereby the raw red is roasted in the shell and cracked open to nibble on during a ball game. The small red skin nuts (up to four seeds per pod) very sweet, they are usually roasted make a delicious and colorful, nutty crunch.

As displaced southerners living in Colorado now, “boiled” and “peanuts” are never used in the same sentence around here. So we have ordered pounds upon pounds of Valencia peanuts from The Peanut Trading Co. and they never disappoint! Packaged well, fast shipping, and eaten even faster. Will only ever get ours from here! <3
