The Valencia Peanut is the most common peanut grown. Planted in New Mexico this peanut is also recognized by the name“ballpark peanut”, whereby the raw red is roasted in the shell and cracked open to nibble on during a ball game. The small red skin nuts (up to four seeds per pod) very sweet, they are usually roasted make a delicious and colorful, nutty crunch.

We love the Valencia peanuts and getting them raw so we can boil them ourselves. Than you for a plae we can order them since we cannot find the Valencia's in any market where we live.

I was excited to see valencia peanuts available. Last year they were impossible to find (for me at least). Valencia's just make a better boiled peanut imo. I bought the 10 lb bag and think it's a good value. I'll be ordering more soon.
