The Valencia Peanut is the most common peanut grown. Planted in New Mexico this peanut is also recognized by the name “ballpark peanut”, whereby the raw red is roasted in the shell and cracked open to nibble on during a ball game. friggin addictive

So i have a serious addiction to raw peanuts, while the spanish peanuts are nice, they can be hard (even when raw), the valencia (also spanish?) are smaller sweeter, softer and easier on the teeth.
