Raw In-Shell Valencia Peanuts

The Valencia Peanut is the most common peanut grown. Planted in New Mexico this peanut is also recognized by the name “ballpark peanut”, whereby the raw red is roasted in the shell and cracked open to nibble on during a ball game. The small red skin nuts (up to four seeds per pod) very sweet, they are usually roasted make a delicious and colorful, nutty crunch.

Great Peanuts

Good tasting nuts, but the price is a little high.

Valencias are the best

I buy these peanuts for several reasons: Peanut Trading has assured me that herbicides and pesticides aren't used; Valencias aren't susceptible to fungus and the resulting aflatoxins of peanuts that touch the soil; the bluejays, who can't be bothered with small seeds, show up within 5 minutes of my dropping some unshelled on my balcony; I roast them and grind them for peanut butter — luscious! Oh, and the shells become mulch for the landscaping outdoors.

The best!!

Even though the shipping was delayed (still not sure why), the peanuts were perfect for our 4th of July tradition of boiled peanuts out on the boat!! Thanks so much! Will be ordering again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We truly appreciate your feedback. Your order was shipped the next business day, so any delays you experienced were due to USPS transit times. Thank you again for your support!
